Partner with a local shoe store
Students who have perfect attendance in the designated time will be put into a random drawing
1 or 2 students are selected randomly
Students are given store vouchers (donated by local store) to buy new shoes
Students are excited because they're able to have the chance to purchase shoes they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford and the local business is excited because you're generating buzz and business throughout the community
During either summer hours or your first few PD days, either go as an admin team or divide staff into groups and meet your new students right at their front door!
